Reproductive surgery

Advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgical options. Laparoscopic surgical options include laparoscopic hysterectomy (including day-case sub-total procedures), myomectomy, reconstructive tubal surgery, radical excision of severe (grade 4) endometriosis and rectovaginal nodules, and excision of ovarian cysts (including endometriotic). Hysteroscopic surgical options include hysteroscopic myomectomy, resection of endometrial polyps, endometrial resection (including microwave procedures), and metroplasty. Reversal of sterilisation is also available.

Reproductive medicine

The investigation and treatment of all aspects of male and female infertility. We maintain links with specialised infertility Units through which we provide advanced services including ovulation induction (OI), intra-uterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilisation (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), gamete donation, percutaneous epididymal sperm aspiration (PESA), testicular sperm extraction (TESE), and sperm and ovarian cryopreservation.

Endometriosis

The diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis at any stage, including conservative, medical and surgical options. Surgical options include the full range of laparoscopic ultraconservative procedures for milder disease to radical excision for severe disease and rectovaginal nodules. A counselling and chronic pain physiotherapy service is available for clients who need them.

Fibroids

The diagnosis and management of uterine fibroids, including conservative, medical and surgical options. Surgical options include laparoscopic, hysteroscopic and abdominal myomectomy depending on the size, number and position of the fibroids. The option of uterine artery embolisation is also available.

Recurrent early pregnancy loss

This affects 1% of all pregnancies and we offer a comprehensive range of investigative and treatment options.

General gynaecology

A comprehensive range of investigative and treatment modalities for general gynaecological conditions, including menstrual cycle disorders, pelvic pain, painful sexual intercourse, excessive body hair, and gynaecological emergencies.

Gynaecological education

The dissemination of excellence in gynaecological practice is a key mission statement of Omondi Healthcare. This is delivered through two different outfits; an NHS affiliated gynaecological education endowment (GRAPE) and a private gynaecological education foundation (GERF).
