Advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgical options for the management of gynaecological conditions. Laparoscopic surgical options include laparoscopic hysterectomy (including day-case sub-total procedures), myomectomy, reconstructive tubal surgery, radical excision of severe (grade 4) rectovaginal endometriosis and other pelvic nodules, and excision of ovarian cysts (including endometriotic). Hysteroscopic surgical options include hysteroscopic myomectomy, resection of endometrial polyps, endometrial resection (including microwave procedures), and metroplasty. Reversal of sterilisation is available.

 

The investigation and treatment of all aspects of male and female infertility. This includes outpatient ultrasound assessment of uterine blood flow (Doppler) and tubal patency (HyCoSy). We maintain links with specialised infertility Units through which we provide advanced services including ovulation induction (OI), intra-uterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilisation (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), gamete donation, percutaneous epididymal sperm aspiration (PESA), testicular sperm extraction (TESE), and sperm and ovarian cryopreservation.

 

 

Endometriosis

The diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis at any stage, including conservative, medical and surgical options. Surgical options include the full range of laparoscopic ultraconservative procedures for mild to moderate disease as well as radical excision of severe disease (including rectovaginal nodules). A counselling and chronic pain physiotherapy service is available for clients who need them.

 

 

Recurrent miscarriage

The investigation and treatment of women with repeated early miscarriages.
